Santa Pola/Gran Alacant (Alicante)

Hello everyone

I just posted a message and it didn't appear, but excuse me if i am posting this twice!!
I just realized the interview i am going for, the office is located in Santa pola.
Does anyone know this and Gran alacant areas? Is it a nice place to live or too quiet? Can you live in central Alicante and commute easily? I will not be driving in the beginning but will have to rely on public transport.
