schooling standards in Almaty

Hi,
This is a question to expatriate parents who are presently having or have had, in the recent past - children studying in the International schools in Almaty. I would like to know more about QUALITY of international schooling in Almaty.
Our kids have been in reputed international schools in 3 countries, up until now. There is a possibility that Almaty might be our next destination. Therefore I have begun the groundwork.
I hear that the number of expatriates in Almaty has sharply fallen since the capital was shifted to Astana.
My question is - Has this had an effect of the quality of International schooling in Almaty?All kinds of feedback would be hugely welcomed.
