Currency exchange (Amman)

Hi folks!
I'm flying into Amman in a few days and will need to be changing some money into JOD. Specifically they are EGP.
Does anyone know where one gets the best rates? Are the EGP rates better at the airport or in town -- can I even be sure that I'll be able to exchange EGP in town? I know that airport rates tend to be very bad, but I'm also afraid that on the street in Amman I will be forced to deal a black-market rate that undervalues the official worth of the EGP, which hasn't changed since 6/30.
