Fun things to do in Amman

Some new members have been asking for ideas of fun things to do in Amman, so I thought I'd start a post on which everyone can contribute ideas :) We will be organizing some events and/or trips based on some of these activities when we return to Amman shortly.

Trader Vic's at the Regency Hotel has salsa dancing on Friday nights.

Souk Jara off of Rainbow Street is an outdoor market selling some pretty unique things every Friday (from around May to September).

Climbat Amman Indoor Climbing Center is an indoor rock/wall-climbing center a little ways outside of the city.

The Mountain Valley Country Club outside of Amman has paintball, archery, beach volleyball, and football.

TimeOut in the Kempinski hotel has a small bowling alley, pool tables, air hockey, etc.

There is also another bowling alley on the top floor of Mecca Mall.

Al-Hussein Cultural Center hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year, frequently by the Amman Symphony Orchestra.

There is a nice cinema in Baraka Mall.
