Jerash by Night (Amman)

Hi all!

I have a friend in town for work this week who would like to see Jerash. I was hoping to take him tomorrow evening after work (leave Amman around 6-6:30 pm Protected content it worth going at that time or will it be too late to enjoy it/ appreciate the sights?

Additionally, in looking through some travel guides, it seems the ticket office closes by sunset/ 5 pm in the winter. Do you need tickets to enter?
