Moving to Amman! Lots of Questions, New member

I'd like to move to Amman, I have a steady income in the states so I do not need to work. I also carry Egyptian Citizenship and last time I visited they told me if my son had Egyptian Citizenship, I would not have had to pay 1 dinar a day for his overstaying. Can I get an Iqama, or stay as an Egyptian, or will I need to travel out of the country to renew my Visa frequently? Also, what are the best areas for home internet speeds ( I need a landline, not wireless). These are the two most important questions at the moment, I will post some others soon.
