Moving to Amman....maybe..

HI All,

This is no doubt a very newby question so I apologise in advance!

I've been approached by a company with head quarters in Amman for a senior role within their company which pays exceptionally well and has with it a full expat package and relocation package.

I'm British, live in the UK and I'm married to a French lady and have two small children (2 & 4). However neither my wife or I know anything about living in Amman and raising two small children there, so could anyone advise me on how big the expat community is, what life is like in Amman, how safe it is, do expats usually bring the families or leave them at home and travel back and forth every several weeks....the usual things?
