Purpose of the Positions
The many emergencies affecting the MENA region have underlined the crucial importance of reliable and timely sizeable surge capacity in human resources. Be it in Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan etc, UNICEFs ability to adequately respond to humanitarian crisis derives from its ability to get the right professional in place in an extremely limited amount of time. Key sectors include WASH, Nutrition, Education, Security, Child Protection, Emergency Coordination and Information Management in line with our Core Corporate Commitments for children (CCCs).
Key Expected Results
Our HR database provides qualified pre-screened, potential candidates for humanitarian response. UNICEF Regional Office for MENA is seeking external candidates who are interested in becoming members of its emergency recruitment database, especially in the following key areas:
1. WASH Specialists (P-4 & P-5)
2. Emergency Coordination Specialists (P-4 & P-5)
3. WASH Specialists (P-4 & P-5)
4. Information Management Specialists (P-3 & P-4)
