Tour recommendations (Amman)

Greetings Internations Amman,

I'm visiting Jordan for work and I'm lucky enough to have a weekend here. I'd like to take a day trip to Petra and possibly also have a half day Amman tour and a half day trip to Mataba. I know it's a lot to fit into two short days but it may be my only chance. Can anyone recommend a safe, but cheaper way to do this besides booking online with an expensive international tours company? Thanks!
