visa extension (Amman)

Hi everyone!
Can anyone advise me where to go to get my one month visa extended by another 3 months? Someone told me the police station downtown is the best for internationals, but I don't really want to go there in the heat with my 15 month daughter whilst I am fasting, and I have to do it before 19th August. I am currently staying in a flat near the fifth circle.
