Visit Jerash from Amman by bus

Dear Friends,

I am in Amman for a short visit. I am planning to visit Jerash tomorrow. Could you pls suggest some near by sites that I might be able to cover on the way. I have been to Dead sea already.

Pls advise whether I should take taxi or bus. I prefer bus since I am travelling alone. However, I dont mind taking taxi if travelling by bus would be difficult. What would be the right time to start from Amman? btw, I am staying in Bristol hotel near 5th Circle.
