Weekend travel to/from Amman-Jerusalem?

Hello,
I'll be studying in Amman in the summer and would like to travel by bus from Amman to Jerusalem through the West Bank. Can anyone tell me the best way (and most cost effective) way to do this? Also, if anyone would be willing to go with me and share costs, that'd be great. Please just let me know :)
