Women's bicycle and weekend excursions (Amman)

Hello,

I'll be moving to Amman in a few days and I'm looking to borrow/rent/buy a women's bicycle for commuting to work and getting around my neighborhood. Any suggestions on where to look? Since I will likely only be in Amman for 4 months, I would prefer to either rent or buy a used bike.

I'm also wondering if there are any others who are new to Amman and are interested in weekend excursions to some of the interesting tourist spots in the country (Petra, Wadi Rum, hiking trails, hot springs, castles, ruins, scuba diving in the Red Sea, visiting the Dead Sea, etc.). I'm hoping to see as much as I can between July and November. Please message me if you are new in town and also looking for traveling companions!
