becoming unemployed (Amsterdam)

I'm a UK citizen,I'd like to move to Amsterdam to live and work there,I was wondering if I lose my job there in the Netherlands,,will I be able to claim some state benefits while I'm looking for a new job to support myself?
what about housing costs,if I become unemployed temporarily,can I get rent assistant from Dutch government while I find a new job?
