Family-freindly Residential Areas of Amsterdam

Hi Everyone! My husband is taking a job in Amsterdam and therefore as a family we need to be relocated and in situ for summer Protected content . I know this seems an awful long way away, however with two young children (7 & 4 years) to find schools for, I am starting the process early. I would really like some advice on what areas are best for a professional family with two active boys and great public schools. I do not want my children to attend a private international school, I want them fully immersed in the culture and learning Dutch (which we are starting as a family asap here in the UK).
