Find friends in Amsterdam

Dear All,

I've been living in Amsterdam for for than one year. I find very difficult to meet people. I came here alone. I have very nice co-workers. But I spend too much weekends alone while I am a very sociable person. It is quiet tought. I 've been to meet up, but when you attend alone it is hard to get conversation with others. I've been very disappointed.

Do you know nice place to go to meet people? Even if you attend alone.
I'd like to attend the next internations meet up at the Bocinq.
