Is there racism or discrimination in Amsterdam?

Hi there,
This topic has come up several times in conversations with current and former residents from Amsterdam and recently a Dutch friend was horrified at the mere idea, saying there is no such thing as racism or discrimination here.
Have you seen incidents that would counter that? Or do you ever hear otherwise from people you know?
