Legal query regarding rental agreement (Amsterdam)

Hi everyone!

I just renewed my rental agreement by 1 year. Along with the extension agreement, which I had to sign, the landlord sent me a 'termination letter'. This letter states that I declare to move out on the property next year. However, I was told by a third party over the phone that this 'termination' letter is only a precaution in case I break down the flat. In addition, the landlord typed the letter in my name without my permission/knowledge! There was no space to sign this letter either.

This doesn't seem right to me. Therefore, I'm wondering if this is a) common practice here in the Netherlands, and b) if this termination letter is legal (considering it was written in my name without my permission). Has anyone experienced something similar?

Regards,
Sven
