Mortgage for non resident (Amsterdam)

Does anybody know if it is possible to get a mortgage in Holland if you are not a resident. I have Dutch nationality, a Dutch bank account (sleeping) but work and live in Malaysia and have been expatriate for 20 years. It is time for me to work less and would like to spend around 4/5 months a year in Holland without having to rent a place
