Moving soon...what can you tell me? (Amsterdam)

Hi all! So, just today my husband has accepted a job in Amsterdam! We are American expats currently living in Canada. I have to say as excited as I am about this move I am already feeling overwhelmed! We are moving with our 14 year old daughter. What sort of tips do you all have for us as we prepare for this move? We will be in Amsterdam at least 3 years it looks like.
