Registration in NL and long-term travel abroad (Amsterdam)

Hello,

What is the cheapest option for a situation where a person has to be registered in the Netherlands (employed by a Dutch company and wants to keep paying taxes to NL) but due to circumstances (remote work allowed) spends most of the year being abroad in various EU countries being constantly on the move (travelling)?
I.e., is there any other alternative instead of renting a room in the Netherlands in which this person would stay very rarely?
