Trip To Netherlands ! (Amsterdam)

Dear Fellows!
My Name is Zeeshan and soon I am planning my trip to Netherlands, pretty excited I am :)
I would like to get in touch with members of internations, since it is my first trip to Netherlands so having friends there would be a great advantage to make my trip memorable. Please advise me for some cheap residences as I don’t want to waste money on expensive accommodation. I wouldn’t mind living in shared accommodation as long as wash room is nice :)
I feel important to share here that I am straight  so I would be more than happy to meet nice and friendly girls, Oh please don’t think that I don’t wanna meet any guys :)
Any amount of information which you feel is important related to weather or events and culture please feel free to share.
