Using UK TVs in the Netherlands (Amsterdam)

Hi,
I've recently moved to the Netherlands, and on plugging in my UK TV I get a perfect picture, but no sound... It's not the TV at fault as the sound works on the video. Does anyone know if there is a way around this problem?
