Albatross members now paying for events? (Ankara)

Dear Tugce,
one of the marketing/PR strategies for persuading Basic memebers to become Albatross members was to waive the entrance fee for events, yet the last two invitations (Jazz and MM film) require Albatross members to pay.
Is this going to become the norm? If so, why?
