hi all (Ankara)

I am a new member and will arrive in September. My work will require me to be there 6 days a week so I only have Sunday left for going around. Aside from long holidays, I will only have Sundays really so I don't think that will be sufficient at all if I were to travel to other cities such as Cappadocia or Istanbul. What beautiful places would you suggest that will not require much travel time and how difficult do you think will it be for someone very new to the city to see some nice attractions all by herself? Would really want to make the most of my time. =)
