Living in Ankara with a small dog

Can anyone tell me about living in Ankara with a small dog? If you walk the dog in the park will it be bothered by the stray dogs? Are there any special permits you have to get before entering the country. Is it hard to find an apartment if you have a dog? I'll be moving from Geneva Switzerland and my dog has an pet passport and is up to date on all his vaccinations. Also, what is the Veterinary care like and do they speak English? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
