Working amd residency permits (Ankara)

I am taking an english teaching tefl/tesol course in november with the hope of relocating to turkey soon after. I have a turkish girl i wish to be nearer and so will be looking to find work teaching english and hopefully settle in turkey. My queries are these, how difficult is the process to obtain firstly a residency permit and then a work visa to allow me to stay legally and settle to work? I know having a job position ready offered wil be a massive bonus so hoping i can find a position quite quickly. Am i right in thinking i can come to turkey on the initial 3month visitor visa, and then apply for residence whilst there and whilst finding a job position i can take? This is all new to me and a huge step but something i am desperate to do in order to be with my partner. Any help will be hugely appreciated :) thanks dale
