external elevator for large furniture (Antwerp)

Hi,
I am moving from the UK to Antwerp and I'm currently house hunting.

For most of the apartments I find, it seems that there are problems in loading furniture via the staircase, and that regulations of each building force you to use an external elevator system and to bring things in from the window.
It sounds weird to me as I've never heard this anywhere else, not in the UK for sure, anyway I was wondering if anybody had similar experiences, and knew any company that could provide this service at reasonable price.
I have few antique pieces of furniture that I want to bring with me and it is not too large, all the rest is ikea-like but it's not so much stuff and it's not worth investing too much in renting such a service.

Also, does anybody now other regulation that I should be aware of before moving my furniture?
