Living in Antwerp area / working in Turnhout

Hello everyone, my family and I will be moving to Belgium early next year. I will be working close to Turnhout. We would like to live near Antwerp (in Brasschaat, Schoten, etc.) so that we're somewhat close to the city, the international school, and other expats. Some of my contacts have said that the traffic in those areas can be rough and the commute to Turnhout is getting worse. Also, one person recommended to me to think about the Kasterlee area and to look into the international school in Mol, although there may be less expats in that area. Any insight provided would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
