London to Antwerp

Dear Expats,

I currently live and work in London with my Belgian wife and baby Son, Bo and we are considering moving to Antwerp to readdress the work/life balance.

We both have well paid and established jobs but are exhausted by London and barely see our Son (not to mention the money we spend on child care) and have little familial support.

Julie (my wife) is from Antwerp and we have considered moving there to be near her family. We both agree that we'd be happier if we earn't less money but spent more time with each other. Also we both like the pace of Antwerp too.

Obviously it would be far easier for my wife to get a job than it would be for me. And I'm committed to learn Flemish and French as soon as possible. But the question is: Will it be possible to find a job in Antwerp/Brussels with English as my only language?

Has anyone been in a similar position to us? If so I would love to hear your thoughts and stories than can aid us on our decision.
