Moving to asmara (Asmara)

Hi there, I'm currently being relocated to asmara and was wondering if any of the locals or expats can help me out with some information?
I understand there aren't many shops but are the basic living necessities available? For example breakfast cereals? Butter? And household stuff like toilet paper? Washing powder?

Any information will be greatly appreciated!
