Dog's acclimatization from hot climate to cold one (Astana)

Hi everyone,

I need an advice from those of you who had an experience of moving from hot climate (like Singapore) to cold one (like ours in Kz). I have recently moved to Kazakhstan from Singapore successfully, and now i am awaiting for arrival of my dog. The breed is West Highland White Terrier which is actually ok with scottish whether per se, but my dog was born in Singapore and hasn't encountered any other climates. Now it is 2,5 years old and as the arrival time approaches i am thinking about its adaptation. What would you suggest to smooth the adaptation and make sure my dog will not fall sick?
