From USA to UAE to KZ! (Astana)

Greetings EVERYONE!!!!

My husband and two of my close friends are moving to Astana on July 23. We are very excited to be experiencing such a great country. I do have some questions and would love to join a meet/greet anytime one is available.

Living in Astana:
1. Are there any shipping companies there where it would be easy to ship to and from America?
2. Is knowing Russian required before we get there. If so, what should we learn first?
3. Should we purchase winter clothes before coming or there? If purchase there...is it expensive?
4. Is there a store called Lush (for cosmetics) there?
5. How is the healthcare in Astana?
