I am in the process of applying for a 2-year job contract in Astana. As the application process is very long, I am wondering whether it is possible to have some information about living in Astana.
Would you please be so kind as to provide some information about:
1. The cost of living, whether it is reasonable (for example compared to the UK)
2. Whether Astana is a lively city and pleasant to live in
3. How safe it is to go hiking and to travel in the countryside/wildnerness
