Paraguay (Lambaré) (Asunción)

I am Irish born, but at present living in France. I have also lived in the UK. I am planning on going to Paraguay (Lambaré) later this year….i am not sure if I will stay, as my main purpose is to surprise visit a friend, who keeps asking me to come. My Spanish is very basic….I would be grateful for any general tips about the place, and also of the hôtels in the Lambaré area.
