sending money to Canada (Asunción)

Does anyone know how to transfer money from Paraguay to Canada? I have been searching and there are no international banks that exist both in Paraguay and Canada? There must be a way that doesn't consist of 1/2 the money going to fees. I will be going to Paraguay in January Protected content a few years but still have to pay my canadian bills which come directly out of my canadian account each month. This cannot change. So I will need to transfer funds to cover the expenses. Any suggestions or ideas are truly welcomed.
