Beginning cycle challenge in Athens

Hi All,

I am cycling from Athens to Lisbon to raise money and awareness for Camfed ( Protected content ) starting this March 22nd…about 6,000km, 11 countries, three mountain ranges, mostly on my own… its a massive challenge and I am seeking help where I can.

I wanted to reach out to the Internations community in Greece to benefit from your advice – learn about the weather conditions, advice on the route I have chosen, if there are any keen cyclists who could give me last minute advice (join me for a day??) , a recommendation of cheap hostels along the route or even perhaps a bed to stay in.
