Drama Workshop in English in Athens!

For the first time, acting Studio "Ελεύθερο Σχήμα" is proposing a weekly English-speaking drama workshop for adults, led and taught by native-speaking actors and directors. The level and content of the class will be determined according to the interest and capacity of the majority of participants.

We are proposing:

A. A class for beginners and amateurs who wish to familiarize themselves with basic acting techniques through exercises and theatre games; or
B. A class for amateur actors wishing to explore text and the construction of character and role and scene work; or
C. A class for seasoned amateurs or professionals who wish to explore character work and theatrical texts with a view to performance.

Theatre is a means of improving social skills, including communication, concentration, trust, discipline, and group work. Classes will be taught by native speakers (actor-director Alexandra Pavlidou, and Canadian actor Davydd Cook), giving fluent speakers a relaxed environment in which to express themselves, and Greek students the opportunity to practice their English language skills (a strong level of English is required).

Classes will be held once a week (3 hours), with specific times arranged according to the schedule of most participants and the school’s timetable.
