Hello from a new member! (Athens)

Hello,
I've just signed up as a new resident of Athens and have joined every group I could find!

I thought I'd just reach out here and say hello to any and all Athens members. I don't know anyone here and don't speak the language, so I'm starting from the very beginning, but I would love to hear from - and meet - people in Athens so I can begin to feel more 'at home' and learn more about this wonderful country.
