Hotel in Athens for one night, June 27th

Hello all,

I will visit one of your wonderful islands (Skiathos) for a week in June, and then spending one nite in Athens.
I will arrive late on Sat 27th on a flight from Skiathos, so I would like to have a hotel that is "easily" accessible from the airport. Or are taxis cheap in Ahtens?
I have most of Sunday (flight again around 18.00) to spend it Athens and would like to see the Acropolis, so a hotel near there would be great :))

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reasonably priced hotel near the Acropolis? And any advice on taxi prices/other modes of transport to/from airport is greatly appreciated!
