SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS BAZAAR 18-21 NOVEMBE 2010 (Athens)
SCANDINAVIAN CHRISTMAS BAZAAR Protected content , Scandinavian Church, 18, Daidalou Street, Plaka (City Centre).
Our Scandinavian friends are organizing the “all-time-classic” (since it has been running for many years) “Scandinavian Christmas Bazaar” at the Scandinavian church. The Scandinavian church relocated earlier this year from the area of Freatida (Piraeus) to the centre of Athens (Plaka). The address is : 18, Daidalou Street, Plaka (halfway between Sintagma and Acropolis metro stations). Bazaar opening hours and dates as follows: Thursday 18 Nov: 16: Protected content hrs, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 Nov: 12: Protected content hrs, Sunday 21 November: 10: Protected content hrs.
How to get there: From Sintagma Square, walk along Vasilissis Amalias Avenue (more commonly known as “Amalias” Avenue, it is the street in front of Greek Parliament) towards the Acropolis until you reach Amalias Avenue No. 30 and then turn right into Dedalou street and walk up to No. 18.
Do not expect to see a big bazaar…It is a small bazaar in a wonderful area of Athens and you can combine a visit there with a nice walk in the National Gardens or Plaka…
