Must see places in Atlanta

Hi all, I'm travelling in the US in Dec & Jan. Will be travelling in and out of town but mostly based in Atlanta.

In your opinion what are the must see places in Atlanta?

So far I have:
-Coke factory,
-Aquarium and
-NutCracker Ballet

any suggestions on where to go Skiiing and ice skating around ATL?

Hows the NYE fireworks in Atlanta? Do they have family friendly fireworks (like here in Australia)? so I can convince my sister to come with me.
