I am planning to move to Auckland soon . Before moving , Could any one of you help me to find following info.

how rents are normally paid for accommodation ( is it per month or per year)?
Which is the best Area in Auckland to find share accommodation and private room ?
How much is food and other living cost per month ? house hold expenses ?
