LLM - Conversion of foreign degree (Auckland)

Hi!

Has anyone gone through the process of converting a foreign law degree here in NZ?

I am in the process of converting my degree with the New Zealand Council of Legal Education and I would really appreciate if someone from a country with a civil law system could share some experiences with me.

I probably have to do a couple of courses/papers at university again, but it would be really helpful for me to get an idea who much this will be.

The council said they can't tell me anything before I havn't handed in my application (and paid the four digit fee) ...
