Moving home .. (Auckland)

Hi guys,
This is a bit of a weird question and hopefully u can help :) .
I’ve been living overseas sinds Protected content the last 28 years in the Netherlands. Originally from NZ and after a lifetime away ready to come home. As u can imagine its pretty daunting though im sparred all the work visum paperwork being a kiwi :) but it almost feels like imigrating after such along time.

I speak Dutch fluently and work in IT here in Holland. Im originally from Auckland but am prepared to relocate where the best opportunities are. What and where are the best prospects maybe combining my 2nd language and IT skills?
And tips and advice would be appreciated:)

PS is it worth coming down before any job offers to do a 6 mth trial? All very weird trialling yr own country...
