Living in the Baghdad Green Zone in 2012

Hi all,

I have a potential offer to work for a MNC in Baghdad, and wanted to know the reality of the current situation. How safe is it there for Europeans? I have heard al sorts of news, but would like real information from real people with direct experience. What is daily life like there? I have travelled to many parts of the worls, and am not put off by new cultures or languages, but personal safety is a concern.

I would really appreciate any help with this! It's a great opportunity, but I need to know that I can do it!
