Any info would be appreciated!! (Bahamas)

I am planning a move to the Bahamas for a year or two with my wife. As my situation is a bit odd I'll explain. I am a US citizen and she is a Russian citizen. We are trying to find a place where we can both live and work (only me if she's unable) while we are waiting for her US visa to be approved which can sometimes be about a year to a year and a half.
So I am wondering if any of you could give me any info or useful tips on how to go about moving there, what I will need to do prior to moving, one I arrive, ect. I would be very appreciative!!
Also, do you think I will run into problems with her being there as a Russian citizen? I am thinking I shouldn't experience many problems since she is my wife but it's hard to tell with all the different immigration laws.
