Moving to the Bahamas from the UK

My sister and her husband are thinking on moving to the Bahamas to teach. They have three young children. Does anyone have any tips and honest advice on housing, getting around and general life in the Bahamas - is it an expensive place to live? Any comments would be much appreciated!
