Expat family life in Baku

Hi, my husband has been offered a possible post in Baku. We have a son 4 years and a daughter 6 years... We are currently in Almaty, Kazakhstan, so we have a bit of Russian Language. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has children in Baku. What is schooling like? Quality of living? Is there an expat club? We love the mountains here in Almaty, what does the area around Baku offer for weekend activities? Many thanks
