Housing in Bali

My husband is going to Bali this month to secure housing but we have little to no leads as far as our budget. I know that there is affordable housing there for long term stay and we have heard of one lady who has a 2 bedroom villa for $ Protected content annual. This would be perfect and our budget is not very high. When I look online I am seeing things like $207 US a night! Yikes! Does anyone know of any ideal agencies to go through. If we must bargain or negotiate that is fine but we would really like to live amongst other expats and hopefully somewhere affordable. Could anyone give me a bit of direction? We would prefer a six month lease over a year but if it must be a year than it is okay too. Please help! Thank you!
